A Mosel Riesling with a classic character. On the nose, it shows fruity aromas of green apple and elegant citrus notes combined with floral tones reminiscent of elderflower. In the mouth, it shows more ripe stone fruit, such as yellow peaches. The mineral flavor of the slate and the defined acidity give it its typical Mosel character and a perfect balance, lightness and freshness that make drinking enjoyable.
Maximin Grünhaus stands at the foot of a steep south-facing cliff that runs along the bank of the river Ruwer, about 2 km from its junction with the Mosel. Its three vineyards: Abtsberg, Herrenberg and Bruderberg are monopolies producing great wines that beautifully express their unique origins.
