Viticulture and Vinification:
The grapes are mechanically harvested in a very short period to ensure a healthy crop and are then immediately pressed with a pneumatic press; a light usage of sulfites is followed by decanting, with fermentation taking place in temperature-controlled tanks, and maturing on fine lees is done with "batonnage" every two days to develop more complex aromas and make the wine softer in the mouth before it is filtered and bottled, all under a "TERRA VITIS RESPONSIBLE" viticulture as independent winemakers.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Pale yellow, bright.
- Nose: Expressive and fruity with notes of white peach, fresh pear, honeysuckle, and mango. Hints of menthol, which fade with aeration.
- Palate: Full, voluminous, and rich. Aromatic with flavors of mango, pear, and peach. Well-balanced with a refreshing and persistent finish. Chewy texture and good purity.
- Overall: A lively and invigorating white wine, Good balance between fruit and acidity, and Suitable for drinking no
Food Pairing:
A perfect combination for seafood and ideal as an aperitif, this wine is also a popular choice for oyster huts, where it fully exploits its potential when enjoyed by the water with fresh oysters, and its "Bistrot" blends allow for a perfect pairing with all types of cooking, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, and from meat to fish.
Recommended Service temperature: 8-10°C (46-50°F)
Wine Profile:
Located just a few kilometers from Bordeaux, Château Lauduc owes its development to the shared passion of its owners, Régis and Hervé Grandeau. The vineyard, which spans 94 hectares across seven communes, is situated on the highest clay-limestone and gravelly hillsides of Tresses. The vineyard is planted with noble grape varieties, including Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, and is certified as High Environmental Value.
