Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Aging: Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in used (2nd and 3rd passage) French oak barrels, followed by 12 months of aging. Finally, bottle-aged for approximately 6 months.
Region: Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Italy
Food pairing:
Perfect with Stewed snails, Fassona ribs (Piedmontese cattle). Recommended temperature: 16-17°C (60-62°F)
Wine Profile:
On the view you it is light ruby red color.
On the nose you perceive its bouquet like hints of eucalyptus, violet and ripe blueberries.
On the palate it tastes fresh and structured, with delicate notes of ripe blackberry and rose-hip. Tannins are smooth and firm.
It is evident that this wine is a blend of Nebbiolo from Spinetta 3 Barbaresco vineyards in Neive. The nose is broad and penetrating, with hints of fresh fruits, violets, and roses. Meanwhile, in the mouth it begins with a soft entrance, followed by gentle but persistent tannins.
