Hito Rosado is a fresh and fruity wine with balanced acidity, making it ideal for light dishes like salads and chilled soups. Its acidity enhances tropical flavors and complements the sweetness of melon, adding complexity without overwhelming the palate.

Tasting Notes: 

1. In appearance, we find a pale, light pink color, clean and bright.
2. However, on the nose, it surprises us with its freshness and expressiveness, where white flower aromas and red fruit notes take center stage.
3. On the palate, we encounter a complex rosé with balanced acidity. Its silkiness and volume stand out, characteristics typical of its aging on lees.

Wine Profile: 

Our Hito Rosado is a different kind of wine, fresh, complex, and with a distinctive personality. Fresh, aromatic, and refreshing, this rosé wine is made from the same grapes as our great reds but without any aging, maintaining the finesse and subtlety of our Tempranillo.

The word "HITO" refers to a stone post used for marking direction or boundaries. This wine aims to provide the freshest and most aromatic expression of our variety, made from the same grapes as our premium reds, without any aging.

Production: After a brief maceration and the physical decanting of suspended solids, fermentation occurs at low temperatures for about 20 days, followed by aging on lees before bottling.

Harvest Characteristics: The 2023 vintage benefited from abundant winter rains that aided budbreak, along with a dry spring with higher temperatures. This pattern continued through summer, leading to an early vine cycle, but rainfall before harvest balanced the grape composition, resulting in excellent quality.
