Wine Profile:
Grapes from Grenache vineyards planted in soils of metamorphic rock known as llicorella, together with those of Carignan that grow in clay soils and those of Tempranillo and Syrah in limestone soils were harvested on separate dates and elaborated separately, once the wines were obtained, they proceeded to its assembly to obtain this pleasant wine for the consumer.
Can Blau El Nen del Celler is a red that was born in El Priorat, in the town of El Molar, in the middle of the D.O. Montsant (northwest of Spain). Its mixture of calizo, clayey and metamorphic soils are ideal for cultivating the vineyard (more than 40 years old), where varieties such as garnacha, cariñena, tempranillo and syrah abound. However, the true benefit for these varieties is the Mediterranean climate, marked with strong notes of continentality, in an enclave surrounded by mountains that are at the edge of the sea and leave the vineyards defenseless against cold winters and dry and hot summers (minimally wet by the influence of the Ebro River). This strong thermal contrast feels luxurious to red varieties, which require large changes to achieve their correct maturity and development.
Tasting Notes:

• On the view it is a young cherry red wine with bright garnet trim.
  
• On the nose it has aromas of red fruits with a pleasant entry in the mouth unctuous, notes of black fruits and a slight mineral touch.
  
• This wine has a long tasting, persistent, good acidity and leaves us a magnificent feeling of fullness on the palate.
