Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Coahuila desert, CANIS is born from a unique terroir characterized by deep calcareous soils with a sandy-loam texture. The extreme desert climate, defined by high thermal oscillation between scorching days and cold nights, contributes to the optimal development and distinctive aromatic complexity of the grapes.
Philosophy: A traditional approach to winemaking by a family estate established in 1946, focusing on the balance between desert resilience and fruit expression. Origin: Paredón Desert, Coahuila, Mexico. Character: A balanced and friendly young red wine that offers a medium structure with a fresh, easy-to-drink profile.
Winery: Bodegas Capellanía.
Wine Type: Young Red Wine.
Vintage: 2022.
Grape Variety: A meticulous blend of 60% Tempranillo, 30% Shiraz, and 10% Malbec.

Vinification: 2-day cold maceration followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures between 25°C and 28°C for 7 to 10 days.
