Vintage: 2018
Alcohol: 13.7% 
Grape Variety: 60% Tempranillo, 20% Grenache y 20%Cabernet Sauvignon

Aging: Aged in second-use French oak barrels for ten months. Pre-fermentative maceration for 24 hours followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control using selected yeast. Each variety is vinified separately and then blended prior to bottling.

Region: Ojos Negros, Baja California, Mexico.

Food pairing: 
Suitable for pairing with medium to high-intensity dishes: Duck, pork, beef, ostrich, quail, pasta with rich sauces, certain cuts of beef, and lamb.

Recommended service temperature: 18-20°C (64-68°F)

Tasting Notes:

• In appearance, a cherry-red wine with medium intensity and slightly orange hues that indicate the beginning of maturity. Clarity, brightness, and luminosity suggest a healthy, well-crafted wine. High density is evident in its thick, well-defined legs that descend slowly.
• On the nose, it is harmonious, pleasant, and expressive. Dominated by young fruits—strawberries, pomegranates, cherries—in a pleasant balance with oak. Delicate finish with subtle spicy notes.
• On the palate, it offers a medium to full body, dry taste, long persistence, and well-balanced tannic expression. It is a harmonious wine, pleasantly balanced and easy to drink. The aftertaste reveals a fruity personality with a slightly oaky finish.
