Grape Variety: Tempranillo
Region: Rioja Alavesa
Aging: 24 months in American and French oak
The winery is located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. All the grapes used come from old vines and a high altitude. The wines produced have a modern cut.
Altos de Rioja Crianza is made from vineyards that range from 20 to 40 years of age. In order to create a well-rounded wine, it is aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels.
The wine has a deep cherry red color with ruby red tones. Its aroma evokes ripe fruit, spices, and toasted flavors. In the mouth, it feels well rounded with velvety tannin. It’s a complex wine, well paired with long-cooked meats, fatty meat cuts, and cured cheeses.
