Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Aging: 14 months in French oak barrels.
Region: Ribera del Duero, Spain
It’s a complex wine, well paired with long-cooked meats, fatty meat cuts, and cured cheeses. Recommended temperature: 16°C (60°F).
High robe, this wine has a beautiful intense garnet red color. On the nose we find a range of complexity that ranges from the fruit to its aging aromas. Very ripe black fruits (blackberries, blueberries) that rest on the delicious notes of smoked, roasted, and toasted bakery from the French barrel. On the palate the wine is very elegant. Fine. With a high structure, it is sweet, round, long on the palate, where after the first powerful entrance of ripe fruit, the balsamic notes of the wood appear, with sweet tannins that envelop the fruit, highlighting it. The nasal aftertaste is intense, making us salivate and remaining in our mouth for a long time. The wine will improve in the bottle in the next 5-6 years.
