Appearance: A beautiful pale lychee pink color.
Nose: Remarkably intense aromatic profile, highlighting fresh strawberry aromas, citrus notes, and rose petals.
Palate: Fresh acidity and an elegant entry, recalling floral and red fruit aromas. It's crisp, fresh, and very balanced, with a distinguished minerality and salinity.

The Winemaking Journey:

Our Alta Alella GX Rosé is an organic rosé wine crafted from carefully selected Garnacha Negra and Garnacha Peluda grapes, harvested specifically for rosé production. The grapes undergo a gentle pressing to obtain the free-run must, which then ferments in tanks at low temperatures.

The 2024 Vintage Story:

2024 marked a return to 'normality' after years of extreme drought. Favorable vineyard conditions during the vegetative period already predicted a vintage with very good health. The dry and hot summer climate promoted good ripening of early varieties, and from early September, a drop in temperature and the return of rains extended the ripening of later varieties. The significant temperature difference between day and night favored the metabolism of aromas and grape color, helping to preserve acidity – a very positive outcome, especially for varieties destined for white and aged red wines. The end of the harvest was accompanied by a more characteristic autumn climate, unlike previous years. In summary, while the plants produced fewer grapes (due to the lingering effects of drought), the vintage yielded fruit of very high quality and excellent health.
