Wine Profile:
This wine is an assemblage of villages from the southern end of the Côte de Nuits: Corgoloin, Comblanchien, Premeaux, Brochon, Couchey.
Joseph Drouhin Uses 3-year-old woods for outdoor drying to bring elements of elegance to the wine. Throughout the aging process, decisions are made only after a careful tasting evaluation, barrel by barrel. As with all other Joseph Drouhin wines, the true expression of the terroir and the vintage character of the wine are an absolute priority. The wine has a bright ruby red color. Its aroma is intense, with notes of wild cherry, licorice and soft spices, evolving into notes of undergrowth and mushrooms.
