A few hundred meters northwest of the medieval town of Saint Emilion, the 3 hectares of the Château Côtes de Rol vineyard are located on a calcareous hill that connects the alluvial rocky areas of Châteaux Figeac and Cheval Blanc to the limestone plateau of Saint Emilion . The average age of the vineyard is over 40 years. The harvest is manual, and the aging takes place in partially new barrels.
Strong and dark in color, intense without being aggressive, the Château Côtes de Rol wine presents a very marked harmony of flavors and aromas, and a wonderful aptitude to aging, like the great Saint Emilion wines.
