Grape Variety: 100 % Chardonnay
Region: San Rafael, Mendoza
Aging: 8 months in oak
The Roca family arrived from Spain and Italy in 1912. They settled in San Rafael and continued their tradition of cultivating vineyards. They mostly planted Malbec, which adapted really well to the region. The winery was built in 1905, and it’s original structure has been preserved up to this day.
Being located in San Rafael provides clear transparent water coming down from the Andes mountains on the south of Mendoza.
The wine has a golden color with green highlights. Its aroma is lovely, with notes of white peach, mango, toasted scent and butter. In the mouth, the wine feels really concentrated, confirming and highlighting the green apple notes, with an elegant and persistent finish.
