The Roca family arrived from Spain and Italy in 1912. They settled in San Rafael and continued their tradition of cultivating vineyards. They mostly planted Malbec, which adapted really well to the region. The winery was built in 1905, and it’s original structure has been preserved up to this day.
Being located in San Rafael provides clear transparent water coming down from the Andes mountains on the south of Mendoza.
The wine has a ruby red color with tile shades. Its aroma contains fruity notes that remind you of raspberries and pomegranate, mixed with the scent of vanilla and other spices. Regarding taste and texture, the wine feels fruity with elegant tannins present.
