Grape Variety: Tempranillo
Region: Rioja Alavesa
Aging: 6 months in American and French oak
The winery is located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. All the grapes used come from old vines and a high altitude. The wines produced have a modern cut.
Altos de Rioja Crianza is made from vineyards that range from 20 to 40 years of age. In order to create a well-rounded wine, it is aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels.
The wine has a garnet red color. Its aroma is fruity and spicy, with leather notes. In the mouth, it feels well rounded with velvety tannin. It’s young and easy to drink wine, paired well with pasta, vegetables, and fresh cheeses; ideal for most tapas and pintxos.
